Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and our staff are trained in the latest industry practices. You can trust that your pet will be handled with care and dignity throughout the entire cremation process.

Why are we different?

Donegal Pet Crematorium Priority Service

At Donegal Pet Crematorium we pride ourselves in offering a priority collection service from your home or veterinary practice in a dedicated vehicle at an agreed time. Your pet is personally handled with respect and dignity. Your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in person at the latest two working days from receipt of your pet. We are experienced pet cremation professionals. We listen and take time to understand your wishes before tailoring the service to meet your needs.

Veterinary Service

Veterinary practices generally have to store your pets for a period of time before being transported for long distances to crematoriums. Your pet may be collected and transported along with other deceased pets from other veterinary practices. Return of your pets ashes from your veterinary practice can take somewhere between seven and fourteen days after euthanasia, depending on the arrangement your vet has with their pet crematorium. Your veterinary practice may only offer you limited options; the staff at your practice are not pet cremation professionals and may not be aware of the options available to you.

ALWAYS REMEMBER - IT'S YOUR PET AND YOUR PET'S CREMATION.

YOU HAVE THE CHOICE

Can I let my vet make the arrangements?

Should your pet be euthanised or pass away at your veterinary practice, your vet should ask you to make some decisions.

Many veterinary practices use the services of just one pet crematorium which they may have no say over the choice of, and will act on your behalf to arrange your pet’s cremation with this crematorium.

Many pet owners do not realise that they have the freedom and right to decide which pet crematorium they use.

You are entitled to inform your vet of your wishes and can instruct them to use Donegal Pet Crematorium for the cremation of your beloved pet.

If you request to use our services as your preferred pet crematorium most vets will help you with your wishes and will hold your pet’s body while you make the final arrangements directly with us.

By contacting us directly you will be able to better decide how you would like to say your final goodbyes giving you complete peace of mind. This will ensure a respectful farewell that is personal and unique.

We can speak to your vet to arrange the transfer of your pet into our care, alternatively you may decide to take your pet home initially and then you can bring your pet to us yourself.

We are here for you in your time of need

We understand that things can happen unexpectedly, therefore we always take our time to explain all options available and answer any questions you may have such as -
